Debut Album to be Released on 4/26!
The Way Out's self-titled debut album checks in as a powerhouse of funk, jazz, and hip-hop inspired compositions and arrangements. The album features original compositions by Shahan Nercessian (guitar), Alan Manos (trumpet), and Aaron Morris (keyboards). The Way Out is extremely excited to feature BMG Japan recording artist Sam Kininger on several of the cuts.
Alan Manos, the band's trumpet player, recorded and mixed the album in his Somerville, MA studio. The band's guitar player, Shahan Nercessian, along with Alan Manos, produced the album. Special thanks to Jonathan Wyner of M-WORKS in Cambridge for the outstanding work he contributed in mastering the album. Thanks also goes to all of those who helped along the way: Nando Costa, Ken Dziok, Matt Tremble, Bill D'Agostino, PJ McGinnis, Sevag Khatchadourian, Lisa Lamenzo, Linda Bornstein, Zarla Ludin, and Claire Oppenheim. We truly hope you enjoy!

Testimonials
"A little Mahavishnu, a little Tower of Power, Billy Cobham, and drive and great spirit. I really enjoy this record! A great record for those who can count ....and those who don't need to!"
-Jonathan Wyner, Mastering Engineer (Miles Davis, Nirvana, Aerosmith, David Bowie)
"The Way Out embraces mutability and flux...providing some lovely solos and lots of stylistic contrast."
